Celebrating 50 Years of Spinato's Pizzeria: A Milestone to Remember

On November 9th, 2024, Spinato's Pizzeria marked an incredible milestone: our 50th Anniversary! It was a day filled with love, nostalgia, and unforgettable moments as we celebrated half a century of serving our community, our guests, and each other. This special day was made even more remarkable by the amazing people we've met along the way and the partnerships that have helped us thrive.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our incredible partners, including Greco, the Phoenix Suns, the Arizona Cardinals, Crescent Crown, Wizard of Za, New Times, Frost Communication, Sue Kern-Fleischer, and so many more, who have been instrumental in our journey. Partners like Greco have helped us deliver elevated ingredients and authentic Italian eats to our menu. And new partners, like Wizard of Za, Sue Kern-Fleischer, and Frost Communications have been instrumental in giving us a platform to have our creativity come to life through fun and interactive campaigns. 

A heartfelt thank you to the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury for graciously hosting our 50th Anniversary Party at their incredible headquarters, Player 15. It was the perfect setting to celebrate with our cherished partners, loyal guests, family, and friends — including some familiar faces from our early days. The evening felt like a true homecoming as we reflected on the amazing journey we've shared since 1974, the year Life Began at Spinato's. We're so grateful to have you as part of our story!

In true 70s style, we embraced the retro vibes of the era that kicked off this incredible journey. The venue was transformed with red and white checkered tablecloths, vintage Lambrusco bottles dripping with candles, and a lively atmosphere that invited dancing and celebration. Guests mingled under the glow of beautiful ice sculptures, including a limoncello luge and a shrimp tower, which added that extra sparkle to the evening.

The best part of the night, however, was hearing from Anthony, my father-in-law, and our team members about how Spinato's came to life and what it meant to them to be a part of this organization. Their stories painted a vivid picture of how this family-owned restaurant went from a dream to a staple in the valley. Spinato's history and legacy are so much more than just pizza—they're about community, family, and passion.

But the fun didn't stop there. The following day, we were treated to a truly special moment at the Phoenix Suns game. The team surprised us by bringing us onto the court to honor 50 years of Spinato's in the valley! It was an emotional and humbling experience to see our family recognized in such a way, and the cherry on top was when they presented my father-in-law with a custom Spinato's Suns Jersey, signed by the entire team. It's a moment we'll cherish forever.

Looking back on those two incredible days, we feel immense gratitude for the love, support, and unforgettable memories that were made. Here's to 50 years of incredible food, family, and community—and to many more years to come!
