I Found Family At Spinato's Pizza!
Twenty years ago, my journey with Spinato's began behind the bar as a part time bartender/server at our Bell Rd location. Like so many of our team members, I came for a job, but I stayed because I found something more...Family! A few years in, I was given an opportunity to step into the office at a time when "the office" was just myself and one or two family members. From those early days, I had a front row seat to building what would become our Family Headquarters that now includes more than 20 people dedicated to serving our restaurants and communities.
As the company has grown, so has my role, leading me to where I am today as HR Director. What has never changed is why I've stayed: the family I work for, the people I work alongside, and the culture we intentionally live every day. Our Spinato's Playbook and Fundamentals guide how we show up for one another; owning our roles, being great teammates, embracing growth, and always doing what's right. These principles aren't just words, they shape how we work, how we lead, and how we care for both our guests and our teams.
One belief that really resonates with me is that the guest experience will never outweigh the employee experience. When our people feel supported, valued, and empowered, they naturally create memorable experiences for our guests. That purpose of helping others, building culture, and creating a place where people can grow, is why Spinato's has never been just a job for me. It's why, after 20 years, I still show up proud of where we've been, grateful for who we serve, and excited for what we're building together next.
