Restaurant Round Table: Growing Stronger Together in Arizona's Restaurant Community
Restaurant Round Table: Growing Stronger Together in Arizona's Restaurant Community
Every time we gather for our Restaurant Round Table, I am reminded of how truly special the Arizona restaurant community is. From family-owned dining spots to fast-casual brands and chef-driven concepts, the people behind this industry show up every day with passion, grit, and heart. This roundtable was created to bring those people together, strengthen our restaurant culture, and support leaders who work hard to create meaningful experiences for their teams and guests.
Our most recent event centered on something we care deeply about at Spinato's: fostering a strong restaurant culture, promoting employee well-being, and leading with purpose in the hospitality industry. These conversations help all of us stay grounded in why we do this work, especially in a fast-paced environment where leadership matters more than ever.
We were incredibly grateful to welcome a powerhouse group of Arizona restaurant leaders. Anthony Spinato, CEO of Spinato's Pizzeria, Tim Vasquez of Someburros, Ted Golden of AZ Locale, and our guest host, Eric Walters of A Taste of AZ.
The conversation was filled with genuine stories, shared challenges, and valuable insights into the world of restaurant leadership. The panel discussed how to build trust within teams, how to navigate the everyday pressures of running a restaurant, and how to remain rooted in values even during challenging times. These were honest conversations happening in the hospitality industry today, and they matter more than ever.
What stood out most was the respect and openness in the room. Leaders weren't competing. They were collaborating. They were lifting each other up, sharing real strategies to support employee growth, strengthen team morale, and maintain consistency in guest experience. This is the kind of connection that strengthens the Arizona food scene and helps all of us grow together.
This is exactly why Restaurant Round Table was created. To provide a space for honest conversations and bring together restaurant owners, managers, and operators, to build community across the Phoenix restaurant industry, and to encourage collaboration in a field that's stronger when we share what we've learned.
As we continue to host these gatherings, we hope that more leaders across the Valley will join the conversation. When we support one another, especially in an industry as demanding as hospitality, everyone benefits. Our guests feel it. Our teams feel it. And our community grows stronger because of it.
Thank you to everyone who continues to show up for local restaurants and for the people who make them what they are. We're grateful for your support and excited for more meaningful conversations ahead. If you've missed the last Restaurant Round Table, please visit our YouTube channel HERE
With Gratitude,
~Jaime Spinato
