Spinato's Pizzeria & the Community

Community is very important to our family and will forever be a pillar for Spinato's Pizzeria. It is something that is incorporated in our Core Values and is lived out through our incredible staff and executive team every day. Personally, community was shown to me at a very early age, and even more importantly the love and support a community can provide was a gift that I will continue to store in my heart forever.

My mother was a single mom for a period of time, working and going to school and trying to make ends meet for us. There were times that the cupboards were bare, and my mom always knew how to create wonderful meals from nothing. There was this one specific time where we did not have any food in our fridge and the cupboards were in FACT bare. I'm sure I'm speaking for most moms when I say that we sometimes have a hard time admitting that we needed help, and this was one of those times for sure. However, it was nothing short of a miracle when our church showed up at our little apartment with grocery bags filled with food. It was a humbling experience filled with love and kindness.

Spinato's & Alice Cooper's Solid Rock Teen Center

Fast forward all the way to now, when Alice Cooper's Solid Rock Teen Center reached out to Spinato's to help provide meals for their after-school program, we couldn't resist. Most of the teens coming to their center are struggling with hunger and are in need of meals; not only do they help our youth with meals, but the Solid Rock Teen Center's goal is to provide a safe landing place for all teens and a sanctuary to support their creative journey through music, dance and creativity. If you'd like to help this mission, you can find out more ways to help HERE. You can also check out some of our Community Events HERE.
