The Kindness Challenge: Holiday Edition
Meet The Engle Family
Karen and David are proud parents of six children, ranging in age from 3 to 9 years old.
For more than a year, Karen had been waiting and hoping to receive beds from Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP). As time went on, she began to wonder if it would ever really happen. Then, one night, Karen and David prayed together for beds for their kids.
The very next day, a SHP delivery team arrived at their apartment complex, bringing beds for another family. Overcome with emotion, Karen came outside in tears and said, "Thank God, SHP is real. Can you please help us?"
The following week, SHP volunteers returned, this time with beds for all six of the Engle children.
