Spinato's Pizza is proud to host a speaker series rooted in something bigger than just business, it's about strengthening the heart of our local restaurant community.


In an industry where the road can be tough and success is built over years, not overnight, we believe building community is everything and building it with people who've been through it or are going through it is the best support. Hosted twice a year, each session brings together a panel of experienced voices to share real stories, hard-earned lessons, and insights that help others navigate the journey a little smarter.


Think of it as an open table where operators and teams come together to connect, exchange ideas, and avoid common pitfalls along the way. We believe one of the best lessons in life is simple: when a door opens for you, hold it for the person behind you. Spinato's has been fortunate to have doors opened along our journey, and this is our way of returning the favor. Creating a space where knowledge is shared, relationships are built, and our community grows stronger, together.

As the founder of Bar & Restaurant Insurance, he helps operators protect and strengthen their businesses with specialized expertise. A former restaurant owner, David brings firsthand understanding of the industry and commitment to supporting the local hospitality community.

Rosalyn Huckaby

Rosalyn serves as Spinato's Comptroller, where she leads the Finance Department and oversees the company's financial operations. She brings extensive experience as a Controller across a variety of industries, providing strategic financial leadership and operational expertise. Most recently, she spent three years as the senior finance leader for a multi-brand restaurant and catering organization.

Leslie Kruk | Spinatos Restaurant Round Table

Leslie Kruk

Leslie brings over 25 years of experience with a background as a baker, and small business owner, she offers her unique expertise in designing operational systems that are both efficient and effective. Her experience navigating permits and regulatory affairs of food, provides her with the keen insight to support businesses looking to begin or expand. Leslie takes great pride in helping support small business entrepreneurs in ways that help them grow and thrive.

Eric Walters

Eric Walters, co-founder of a taste of az, lives in Phoenix with his wife and two daughters. His media company highlights Arizona's food and beverage scene through a magazine, festivals, a podcast, and books. He's also active with Healing Hospitality, a nonprofit supporting hospitality workers with mindfulness and self-care, and he's passionate about community, mindset, and resilience.
