Four Years of Kindness: Spinato's 2026 Kindness Challenge Benefiting St. Vincent de Paul

At Spinato's Pizzeria & Family Kitchen, pizza may be what brings people through our doors, but community has always been at the heart of who we are.

For more than five decades, our community has supported our family and our restaurants, and we believe one of the best ways we can say thank you is by serving outside our walls. That belief is what inspired the Spinato's Kindness Challenge, and in 2026, we are incredibly excited to celebrate our fourth year supporting St. Vincent de Paul and the individuals and families they serve throughout Arizona.

What started as a simple idea has grown into something our family, team members, guests, and community partners look forward to each year.

How the Kindness Challenge Began

In 2023, our Community Outreach team visited St. Vincent de Paul's Watkins campus and saw firsthand the tremendous need facing individuals experiencing homelessness in our community.

We left asking ourselves a simple question: How can we help?

That question became the beginning of the Kindness Challenge.

We created Kindness Bags filled with practical necessities such as toiletries, snacks, socks, and water. But we wanted our guests to be part of the experience, too. Rather than simply making a donation ourselves, we created a way for the entire Spinato's community to participate.

And year after year, you have shown up!

Kindness Bags Are Back for 2026

Throughout the Kindness Challenge, guests can purchase a Kindness Bag for just $5 at any Spinato's location, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting St. Vincent de Paul.

Each bag is packed with items that can provide a little comfort and care to someone experiencing homelessness. Once purchased, guests can take their Kindness Bag with them and give it directly to someone they encounter who may be in need.

It's a small act, but that's one of the things we love most about this program.

Kindness doesn't have to be complicated.

It can be a meal. A bottle of water. A clean pair of socks. A conversation. Or simply letting another person know that they are seen.

It Takes a Community

One of the most rewarding parts of watching the Kindness Challenge grow over the past four years has been seeing more people step forward to serve alongside us.

We are grateful to work alongside an organization that shares our passion for supporting local families and creating meaningful change.

Greco & Sons has also been a tremendous partner to the Spinato's family. Our relationship goes beyond business. They continue to step up and support our outreach efforts, volunteer alongside us, and help us turn ideas like the Kindness Challenge into something much bigger than we could accomplish on our own.

More Than a Pizza Place

When our family talks about the Spinato's Experience, we aren't only talking about what happens inside our restaurants.
